Spacious room with a lovely mini kitchen and a cozy balcony. Breakfast options were varied and fulfilling. Staff were helpful in recommending nearby food stores.
The hotel could benefit from updating some facilities.

We recommend it. By and large, it was welcome base for sightseeing in Ottawa, had much fun and met very attentive staff in the night shift. Location: the hotel was near to Byward Market, National Gallery and Parliament Hill and many restaurants and pubs and markets...

More fun than I expected!
The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to attractions, with plentiful dining options nearby. The breakfast spread was good, with hot items and fresh fruits. The comfortable room with a balcony enhanced my stay, while the friendly staff provided great local insights. A great choice for a nice visit!

It was just a solid selection for a swift visit in Ottawa with good value. The breakfast had a variety of hearty options worth waking up for. Arrive early for parking to secure a spot.

Location next to Byward-market area is very nice. Restaurants are very close. Walking distance to Parlament. Quiet street.
Breakfast was little poor. Everything ran out and we had to wait for coffee, juice, bread, eggs. This happened both mornings we were there and we were there early. Rooms could have been bigger and have room for luggage. Even it says in the internet they have baby gribs if you ask them, they didn't have them available at all. Cleaning better would have been nice. We also had just 2 towels - no handtowels at all. Elevator got stuck several times.

Appreciated the place, had a really great stay for 1 night. The queen room was excellent with kitchenette, so that guests had essentials. A microwave, a coffee maker and refrigerators were available too.
Although everything was great, some of the staff were not so friendly.

The rooms are well appointed with everything you need.
I was disappointed by the cleaning service. Our room was only cleaned once during our 5-night stay despite agreeing to minimal service. The front desk staff seemed indifferent and hardly acknowledged us during check-in and check-out. Parking was a nightmare, as the hotel does not have its own lot and the nearby paid parking lot was often full.

Very small parking!! But it did the job!!

I had such high hopes for this place but, alas, no internet and a breakfast that was repetitive made staying here a dreary affair. I mean, i expected more than minimal service. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The balcony was an asset during the wonderful weather we had in Ottawa this may. The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. During our stay our TV stopped working and was replaced quickly. When we left, the man at the front desk helped us move our very heavy luggage to the taxi.
We did have a problem with things like coffee, plates and glasses not being replaced or replenished after the room was cleaned. But, again, the men on the front desk couldn't have been more helpful when we asked for more coffee.

Small building so not a lot of waiting for elevator. Complimentary breakfast (euro-style) in dining area. Nice balcony.
Curtains and blinds are white so not dark enough to sleep well. Noisy apartment building across the street. No air conditioning so wouldn't stay here during the summer. The wheels on the bed moved away from the wall a lot as it is not anchored.
